Telmo Baptista attended the international conference on "Health Communication - Intervention Policies and Strategies in Health" which took place at the ESEL Auditorium in Lisbon on the 28th-29th June. From prevention to the training of communication skills, applied to the context of health, community and social psychology, the President listed the possible contributions that psychology and psychologists can make in different areas. He highlighted that it is essential for there to be a higher presence of psychologists in decisions on health policies and strategies, and that the Order's role is to contribute so that decisions in these areas demonstrate the important role psychologists have and the benefits citizens can gain from their contribution.
