Code of Ethics of the Order of Psychologists (Ordem dos Psicólogos)

Regulation No. 258/2011 – the Code of Ethics for the Order of Psychologists (Código Deontológico da Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses) was published in the Diário da República on the 20th April.  

After a period of Public Debate, during which the OPP received dozens of contributions, the document was reviewed and put to the vote of the Assembly of Representatives, which gave its unanimous approval.

The Code of Ethics is deemed essential reading for good practice in Psychology and we recommend that all professionals keep themselves updated with the guidelines which have now been approved and put them into practice. You can view the document here.
