The European Congress of Psychology (ECP) 2011, organised by European Federation of Psychologists' Associations (EFPA), which takes place in Istanbul, from the 4th to the 8th of July, will be attended by a large committee of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP), led by the President, Telmo Baptista.

The main objectives of this participation have been widely implemented, namely: the presentation of the OPP to countries participating in the ECP, the publicising of the activities which have been carried out by the order and the future plans of the Order in terms of regulations and the promotion of the profession of psychologist in Portugal.

The acceptance of the Order by country members has been quite good with the establishment of various communication platforms with similar institutions to promote good practices, the promotion of innovation and the mobility of psychologists and a standardisation of guidelines for Psychology in Europe.
