Under the scope of the Presidency of the Iberoamerican Federation of Psychology Associations, and continuing to make research and training tools available to it's members, OPP promotes access to Redalyc – Latin America, Caribe, Spain and Portugal's Scientific Journals Network. This structure wants to help divulge the scientific activity that happens in the Iberoamerican space.

In a time when people are more vulnerable due to this crisis the country faces, Telmo Moutinho Baptista, President of OPP, outlines the necessity for more psychology appointments in the National Healthcare Services. According to the President only so can we counteract the rise in depressions, ansiety, sick days and suicides.

Telmo Moutinho Baptista, President of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses talked, on national television, about OPP's procedure in the issuing of professional certificates underlining that the practice of psychology by a professional who was not a member of the Ordem's is ilegal.
