Number of vacancies in Psychology diminishes 11,2%


In concrete numbers, since the 2008/2009 school year there are less 1003 vacancies in the undergraduate degree programs of Psychology. Nevertheless, there are still 2484 vacancies.

Telmo Mourinho Baptista is the new chairman of the Iberoamerican Federation of Psicologists' Associations, just until the IX IFPA Congress, that will take place in September 2014, in Lisbon, and that will be held simultaneously with the 2nd Congress of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP).

Summary of Regional Elections 2012


On the 15th of October 2012, the first Regional Board Elections of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) were held. The Elections were carried out as normal, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Funchal and Ponta Delgada. Yet another fundamental stage since the creation of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) was concluded.

International Seminar of Education Psychology


The Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) was present at the International Seminar of Education Psychology: We made it here, which way?..., which took place in S. Miguel, in the Azores, on the 12th of October. The meeting was the result of an initiative from the group of colleagues that develop their work at the Ribeira Grande and Rabo de Peixe Schools.
