Applications are open for the 1st edition of the training course associated to professional internships of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses, to take place in Évora.
The 40-hour course covers several topics relating to the ethics and deontology of Psychology professionals, the situation of psychologists in Portugal, the role of entrepreneurship in our profession and ends with a brief discussion on project management.
The 1st edition of the course in Évora shall be held at a location which is yet to be announced, on the following dates: 11th March (Friday, 6 pm - 9 pm), 12th March (Saturday, 9.30 am - 12.30 pm / 2 pm - 5 pm), 19th March (9.30 am - 12.30 pm / 2 pm - 5 pm), 26th March (9.30 am - 12.30 pm / 2 pm - 5 pm), 1st April (Friday, 6 pm - 9 pm), 2nd April (Saturday, 9.30 am - 12.30 pm / 2 pm - 5 pm), 8th April (Friday, 6 pm - 9 pm) and 9th April (Saturday, 9.30 am - 12.30 pm / 2 pm - 6 pm).
As usual, this edition has 15 places available. Priority shall be given to applicants registered in the category for the recognition of the professional internship and the recognition of professional experience of trainee members with 12 months recognised, due to the fact that they require a pass in the training course in order to become full members.
Applications must be sent by e-mail to cursoformacao@ordemdospsicologos.pt, with the subject "Inscrição Curso Évora1". Each applicant must indicate their name and registration number with the OPP. In order to attend the course, payment is required of the amount which refers to the submission of the Internship Report, pursuant to the Regulation for Fees and Charges of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses.
