Psychologists hired to undertake duties in schools

Following the meeting with the Minister of Education on the 18th October, the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) was informed of the decision authorising psychologists to undertake duties in schools.

As a Public Professional Association, it is our duty to inform members of the developments in regard to this process.

Therefore, the OPP hereby makes public the information obtained from the Ministry of Education, as follows:
a) Schools have already been informed of the services assigned to them;
b) It has been decided that the delegation of duties shall be to the School Director who should proceed with the competition procedure;
c) The notice of the opening of the competition shall be published shortly.
