The investiture of the members of the Assembly of Representatives (AR), which was elected on the 12th April 2010, took place on the 30th April. In this meeting, the members of the Presiding Board of the Assembly and the members of the Judicial Committee were elected. Following their election, they took office before the President of the Presiding Board and the other Board members presided by Telmo Baptista, as well as the Fiscal Committee. It must be noted that Miguel Ricou (North), Mário Simões (Centre) and Mário Jorge Silva (South) abdicated as Members of the Assembly of Representatives, in order to undertake functions as Members of the Judicial Committee. Therefore, the first alternates for the North, Centre and South are now an integral part of the Assembly of Representatives, these are: Ruben Manuel Xavier da Costa Pinto (North), Francisco Bruno Gomes Mascarenhas Loureiro (Centre) and Rute Sandra Guerreiro Agulhas (South).
