Psychologists and psychology had never been mentioned this much in the Media. From radio to national television, and the press, they all covered the 1st National Congress of the Order at the Centro Cultural de Belém.

During one week, much news was published about the Congress and even stories related to the profession. Telmo Mourinho Baptista, President of the Ordem dos Psicólogos (OPP) was invited to be present on national television to speak of the Congress and its objectives.

In a statement, directed at Portuguese Psychologists, this week, Telmo Baptista gave a very positive summary of a congress which brought together 1800 professionals at the Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon. According to the President, it was the largest contribution ever for Psychology in Portugal.
