OPP report published on the site of Primary Health Care and SPEO

This is the first time that a technical document of the Order is published by an entity from the Ministry of Health and by scientific societies.

The report on the cost-effectiveness of psychological interventions in healthcare, by the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) was published on the site of the Technical Group for the Development of Primary Healthcare and on the site of the Portuguese Society for the Study of Obesity (SPEO).

This is the first time that a technical document of the Order has been published by an entity of the Ministry of Health and by scientific societies. This is the result of a work regarding the assertiveness of psychologists that the Order has been developing in the field of health and shows the importance of the contribution of Psychology to improve the health of citizens and the sustainability of the National Health System.

The cost-effectiveness report is the first approach to the subject that the Ordem dos Psicólogos (OPP) promotes and is a continuous effort in the updating of the study which, in future editions, will include the results of new studies published in the area.
