The President of the Ordem dos Psicólogos (OPP), Telmo Mourinho Baptista, was received by the Minister of Justice, Paula Teixeira da Cruz, on Tuesday afternoon. The objective of the meeting, with the Ministry, was to present several collaboration proposals aimed at making the processes in the area of Justice, in which psychologists have a particular interest, more agile.

The President announced, to the Minister, some of the Order's initiatives, so as to promote the identification of psychological acts. Telmo Mourinho Baptista is willing to collaborate on the definition of training sessions, which will allow several Justice agents to have a more in-depth knowledge of the work of the psychologists and what can be expected from a quality practice. He also proposed making the process of the participation of psychologists in issues related to the regulation of parental rights more agile.

The proposals of the Ordem dos Psicólogos (OPP) were well-received by the Minister who also seemed available to study and receive new proposals.
