Course Associated with Professional Internships

OPP training allows admission of more than one thousand new permanent members in less than one year

Since its launch 11 months ago, the Training Course Associated with Professional Internships allowed 1037 trainees to have their entry process as a permanent member of the Order finalised.

The Training Course Associated with Professional Internships was launched approximately 11 months ago. Since then, courses have been given in Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Braga, Guimarães, Covilhã, Leiria, Caldas da Rainha, Aveiro, Santa Maria da Feira, Viseu, Albufeira, Faro, Évora, Almada, Funchal, Ponta Delgada and Angra do Heroísmo.

In the 70 courses which have already been completed, 1061 trainees passed the course, and 1037 already have their entry process as a permanent member of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) finalised. In addition, 17 courses have been launched or are in progress, in which 267 trainees are currently registered and are currently attending a course, or are registered and are waiting for the start of the respective course.

The feedback from the trainees who attended the course has been very positive, and the work undertaken by the trainees in the more practical modules has generated ideas which help the OPP in its mission to assert psychologists.
