The Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) received, in Lisbon, the Direcção do Colégio Oficial de Psicólogos de Espanha (COP), last Friday. As a result of the meeting, the basis for an agreement which has benefits to the members of Portugal and Spain, collaboration for swapping experiences and information between the two organisations and for a tighter collaboration in the scope of the international organisations to which the Order and the Colégio belong.

This was a formal meeting between the Boards of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) and the Colégio Oficial de Psicólogos de Espanha and is the result of the contacts previously made between the two organisations.

In a brief interview in video, Francisco Santolaya, President of the Colégio Oficial de Psicólogos, complimented all the work that the Order has done in the assertiveness and protection of psychologists in Portugal and in the international projection of this organisation. The president of the COP also spoke of what has been projected for the future in terms of training, exchanges and research between both countries.
