Alterations to the internship regulations and rates and fees published

Last Friday, in the Diário da República, the orders related to the alterations to the Professional Internship Regulations and the Regulation of Rates and Fees, approved by the General Meeting of Representatives of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP), in December 2010, were published.

Order no. 13820/2011, which changes Professional Internship Regulations, makes the composition of the Internship Committee more flexible and clarifies the regime applicable to the dismissal of the Body by the Board.

Order no. 13821/2011 clarifies, in the scope of theRegulation of Rates and Fees, the system applicable to the application of psychology interns. This order says that Internship Members are exempt from the payment of the new application fee once they have terminated the professional internship and the approval of the internship. It also distinguishes the application fee for psychology interns from the sum due for the application itself. It also establishes the value of the Professional Licence, for the Permanent Member, once the internship has been completed, and the values applicable to the second copies of the Licence.
