On the 30th of August, the Ordem dos Psicólogos hosted, at their national head office, a meeting of the General Council of the National Council of Professional Orders (CNOP).

General Council meetings are an opportunity for the professional Orders to exchange points of view on aspects which affect the liberal professions.

The Ordem dos Psicólogos (OPP) recently subscribed to a common position that the Orders took on the role that they can have in the current economic situation, which was sent to the Prime Minister and the President of the Republic.

The meetings are also an opportunity to exchange impressions with the Orders of the health sector, which allows for a greater knowledge of the efforts which are being made by different health professionals in the resolution of problems and the promotion of the health of citizens.

The Ordem dos Psicólogos (OPP) will continue to actively participate in the National Council of Professional Orders, presenting all issues of relevance for psychologists and users of psychology services.
