On the 22nd of July, theDisciplinary Regulations of the Ordem dos Psicólogos (OPP) was published, and which, together with the Code of Ethics, is an essential tool for the promotion of good practices in psychology allowing for the protection of the interests of all those who use services provided by Psychology.
 
The document defines the rules which arise for the recognition and punishment of the non-compliance with ethical duties and establishes a procedure divided into five phases: 1) Instruction, 2) Defence of the injured party, 3) Decision from the Jurisdictional Council, 4) possibility of the injured party or claimant to Appeal the Decision and 5) Execution of the Decision.
