The Board of the Ordem dos Psicólogos (OPP) approved the Plan for the management of Risks of Corruption and Related Offences of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP), in the scope of Recommendation No. 1/2009, of the 22nd of July, of the Council for the Prevention of Corruption (CPC).

As the Order has, as its mission and values, Independence, Balance, Assertiveness, Transparency and Responsibility, the Plan for the management of Risks of Corruption and Related Offences of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) is aimed at, among other things, the promotion of a transparency policy of its activity, the definition of prevention mechanisms for deviant behaviour and the prevention of corruption and the reinforcement of the trust of members and users in the Performance of the Order and its Services.

We believe that this is yet another step, in this short period of life of the Order, towards an improvement in the operation of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) and also the establishment of the basis of good practices in the future of the organisation, assuming, as an example, its contribution to the struggle against corruption in Portuguese society.
