Upon invitation by the President of the Official College of Psychologists in Spain (COP), Mr Francisco Santolaya, the President participated in the 3rd Convention of the General Council of the Official Colleges of Psychologists, which gathered the leading bodies of the regional colleges in Spain.
During the event, which gathered representatives from regional colleges, several works were presented on the situation of psychology in Spain. The discussion groups which were formed for each of the different themes presented their conclusions at the end of the Convention. Participation in the convention brought the two entities that represent psychologists in the Iberian Peninsula closer and allowed us to learn about the problems and solutions our Spanish colleagues have found in promoting psychologists and psychology in Spain. The desire to cooperate and foster a closer relationship between the COP and the OPP led to it being agreed by the two organisations that they should meet regularly in order to exchange experiences and pursue matters of mutual interest.
