On the 7th May, Telmo Baptista, President of the Ordem dos Psicólogos, attended the closing ceremony of the conference on "Wellbeing in Diversity - Promoting interventions that are sensitive to individual and cultural diversity", organised by SIS of ISCTE, where it broached some of the issues regarding the creation of the Code of Ethics and the development of guidelines, so that professionals take into account the extent of cultural and individual diversity.
According to the President, the promotion of awareness actions for professionals is essential because it leads to an increase in psychologists' awareness of the extent of these issues, which are transversal in the intervention of Psychology, and therefore constant attention should be paid to national and international resolutions on the matter and its respective application.
