The inauguration ceremony appointing the new President of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Prof. Dr. Telmo Mourinho Baptista for the 2010-2013 mandate, took place on the 16th April 2010.
Over 150 guests attended the event, including Members of Parliament, Ministries, Orders, Universities, Institutions of Social Solidarity, private institutes and several psychology figures.
During his first speech as President, Telmo Baptista underlined the importance of affirming the presence of psychologists in the various fields of Psychology, namely by creating more professional internships and the need for the Code of Ethics and Deontology for psychologists to be implemented as soon as possible.
