Applications are open for the 16th, 17th and 18th editions of the training course associated to Professional Internships of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists (Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses), to take place in Lisbon.

Each edition of the course is 40-hours long and covers several topics relating to the ethics and deontology of Psychology professionals, the situation of psychologists in Portugal and the role of entrepreneurship in the profession, ending with an overview on project management.

The 16th edition (Lx16) shall take place on the following dates: 7th June (6 pm -10.30 pm), 15th June (6 pm - 10.30 pm), 18th June (9.30 am - 12.30 pm/2 pm-5 pm), 25th June (9.30 am - 12.30 pm/2 pm – 5 pm), 26th June (6 pm - 10.30 pm), 29th June (6 pm – 10.30 pm), 1st July (6 pm – 9 pm) and 2nd July (9.30 am -12.30 pm /2 pm – 6 pm).

The 17th edition (Lx17) shall take place on the following dates: 16th June (6 pm – 10.30 pm), 18th June (9.30 am – 12.30 pm), 23rd and 24th June (6 pm – 9 pm), 25th June (9.30 am – 12.30 pm/2 pm – 5 pm), 1st July (6 pm – 9 pm), 2nd July (9.30 am – 12.30 pm/2 pm – 5 pm), 8th July (6 pm – 9 pm) and 9th July (9.30 am – 12.30 pm /2 pm – 6 pm).

The 18th edition (Lx17) shall take place on the following dates: 21st June (6 pm – 9 pm), 22nd, 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th June (10 am – 1 pm/2 pm – 5 pm) and 1st July (10 am – 1 pm/2 pm – 6 pm).

The courses shall take place at Centro de Escritórios das Laranjeiras, at Praça Nuno Rodrigues dos Santos, n.º 7 – 1600-171 Lisbon.

As usual, applications are limited to 15 places and priority shall be given to applicants registered in Category B (recognition of the professional internship) and Category C (recognition of professional experience) with 12 months recognised, due to the fact that they require a pass in the training course to become full members.  

We recommend that applicants sign up for just one of the course editions; if they sign up for several editions – assuming they are available to attend any of them – it shall be at the OPP’s discretion to select which edition they shall attend.  

Applications must be sent by e-mail to cursoformacao@ordemdospsicologos.pt, with the subject “Inscrição Curso Lisboa16”, “Curso Lisboa17” or Curso Lisboa18.
Each applicant must indicate their name and registration number with the OPP. In order to attend the course, payment is required of the fee which refers to the start of the professional internship, pursuant to the Regulation for Fees and Charges of the OPP in force.
