Telmo Mourinho Baptista, President of the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses, was invited to the closing cerimony of the International Congress of NASIG on “Giftedness: inclusive pratices to promote talents”.

The House of Representatives recently approved the Bill on Professional Associations, accepting several changes to the initial proposal that mirror the stances upheld by Professional Associations, among them the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses.

This was one of the statements Telmo Mourinho Baptista made when attending the opening session of the 1st Congress of the Portuguese Association of Fight Against Lung Cancer (PULMONALE). This opening session was presided by the undersecretary for Health, Dr. Fernando Leal da Costa.

The CSAP, currently composed of 27 nonpartisan associations, financially autonomous and non-religious, was created to help it's members and their contributions to stand out, promoting action in civil society.

Following the publication of the story “OPP under investigation for violating personal data”, in today's Diário de Notícias newspaper, in page 2 and cover story, the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses clarifies:

In concrete numbers, since the 2008/2009 school year there are less 1003 vacancies in the undergraduate degree programs of Psychology. Nevertheless, there are still 2484 vacancies.
